A choice to dine inside or outside is up to you, but I the outside option. Although located in the city it has a peaceful and relaxing vibe to it. Here is a link to a Google map of the location or directions.

What’s on the Menu?

Having two of my favorites and an extra cup of coffee I only realized that there is more on the menu. After a filled roosterkoek, caramel and banana filled pancake I had no room for more. Luckily I was able to take something for the road.

Foodie Facts

The menu has a variety to choose from and has various vegan options as well. More than 50% of their greens used in foods and salads are certified organics. Real dairy cream and grain-fed free-range farm eggs are used in all their baked goods. They also make use of 100% pure, aspartame-free low GI and diabetic approved Xylitol.

The Menu

The menu has an average selection as most coffee shops do, but there are some options I must highlight.

– Hot Beverages

A selection of coffees, from espressos to macchiatos, americano to a large selection of latés. One that was really good is the “hazelnut ganache hot chocolate latté”… For those not quite into coffee hot chocolate or a pot of tea are alternatives. Almond milk both dairy and soy-free is an alternative to milk.

– Cold Beverages

Ice coffee… Yes, they do have ice coffee as well. A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available. From freshly squeezed juices to ciders and beers. Don’t forget the selection of wines on the list, but when you are on the road, especially as a driver don’t drink and drive.

– Food

As mentioned earlier the menu has options available for vegans. Selections such as bacon and mushroom quiche to stuffed butternut or a thin crust pizza to a variety of burgers. If you are looking for a light snack or quick meal there are salads, chicken wraps and the option of a toasted or fresh sandwich.

Savory or twin sweet pancakes are personal favorites, what is your favorite coffee shop meal? For more tempting images of food, treats, and coffee shop delights check out Brioché Food & Coffee in Port Elizabeth on Facebook or Instagram.
